Dialog, connection and empathy between countryside and city are the backdrop for the event in Cuiabá

In the midst of so many antagonisms and bipolarizations, a group of women talk about empathy, positive dialogues, and connections: the Agrolinked, a movement of women linked to agriculture with the purpose of being a bridge between the countryside and society as a whole, through education and communication actions. And to expose the movement’s bases and train members, the movement is holding the Agrolinked Workshop – Empowering to Transform, on September 17, in Cuiabá.

The event is aimed at all women who are connected with agribusiness and sympathize with the movement’s agenda. “There are many barriers that have been built between the countryside and the city, many of them built on lack of information, lack of dialogue, fake news. We believe that the interdependent relationship between everyone is what brings development, and we trust that we can establish new kinds of connections, break down these barriers, and help generate a more positive agro culture,” says Geni Schenkel, founder and president of Agroligadas.

Melissa Freitas, the movement’s vice-president, says that the last few months have been a lot of work structuring the group. “We have been working with very qualified professionals, in search of modeling our movement, creating a governance structure, working agenda, and other points that will all be presented in this workshop. We are not for profit, we are driven by the desire to transform and create a different legacy for the next generations. We invite other women to participate in the event and come to add and dream with us,” comments the vice president.

The workshop’s program will bring professionals and leaders with a lot of experience to deal with the proposed themes, such as Claudia Luz, an advertiser. Communication and Marketing Manager of the Famato System, she will give a lecture with the theme “Communication that builds bridges”, helping to understand the types of positioning and approaches that can bring people together and create connections.

Rural producer and agro-coach Adriane Steinmetz, who has a history of overcoming obstacles and involvement in the field, will give a talk on personal development and protagonism. Camila Telles, CNA’s public relations and communication advisor, who went viral all over Brazil with her humorous posts and parodies in defense of the countryside, is also present in the program.

The Agrolinked Workshop – Empowering to Transform – will take place on September 17th, Tuesday, starting at 8:30am, in the FAMATO auditorium, in Cuiabá (Rua Engenheiro Edgard Prado Arze, s/n, Centro Político Administrativo), sponsored by Acrimat; Tecnomyl; Aprosoja; Ampa; Aprosmat; Áster/John Deere; Andef and in partnership with Famato and Caule Criativo.

Places are limited and must be made in advance, through the internet (bit.ly/WorkshopAgroligadas), for R$ 100.
