The event approached technologies applied to day-to-day livestock farming
Last week, the Sapezal Agroligadas held the 2nd edition of the Agro Technology Fair, an event attended by educators from all public and private schools in the municipality.
With the objective of showing the technologies applied in the day to day of the cattle-raising activities, lectures were given by professionals specialized in the theme, with the intention of creating connections between the countryside and the city. The latter is often unaware of the cycle of the cattle-raising activity, and this makes a close look at AGRO indispensable.
In this edition of the Technological Fair, those present were able to check out theoretical and practical information that revealed the evolution of livestock farming, especially the various technology models that are applied in the day-to-day activity, both in the pasture and feedlot modality. The occasion also served for people to learn about good practices at all stages, from the formation of the herd, management, nutrition, slaughter, and the marketing not only of meat, but also of the many products whose raw material comes from livestock.
The purpose of Agroligadas, when promoting an event like this, is to seek to broaden the knowledge of school educators about these topics, so that they can take the information to the students, helping us to awaken the population’s interest in livestock farming. We also seek a greater appreciation for this activity, which is so important for the local and even the world economy.
