Strengthening, union, integration, and feminine powers capable of filling gaps in a unique and special way: all this will be in the memories of the first Agroligadas Workshop – Empowering to transform, held throughout Tuesday, 17, in Cuiabá, with the presence of more than 150 women from all over the state and with the objective of discussing more efficient forms of communication and connection between the countryside and the city.
The event was promoted by Agroligadas, a movement of women linked to agriculture with the mission of being a bridge between the countryside and the whole society, through communication and education actions, helping to promote a positive culture of agriculture.
“In this workshop we present in detail what our movement is, what it is for, how it works, and we add a program in tune with our ideals, enabling the women present to engage in the movement and be agents of transformation. That’s why we call it ’empowering to transform’, because besides believing in the collective, we believe that each woman has in herself a great capacity to transform herself and those around her”, said Geni Schenkel, president of the movement, who was part of the first panel of the day, along with Agroligadas Melissa Freitas, vice president, and Thalita Araújo, from the movement’s communication department.
The program had a great appeal to themes related to communication, making an alert to the need for new ways of positioning oneself and creating dialogues and connections. This, by the way, was the main theme of the lecture “The communication that builds bridges”, given by Claudia Luz, who has great experience in agro communication and occupies the position of Communication and Marketing Manager at the Famato System.
A recent phenomenon in the social networks, public relations Camila Telles came from Brasília and went on stage under the theme “Agro on the Net”, sharing her experiences and her trajectory, which culminated in passionate defenses of agribusiness and videos viewed by hundreds of thousands of people all over the country. “A new voice is emerging in agribusiness, and that voice is female,” Camila emphasized.
Kamilla Andreatta is a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, in Cuiabá, and took advantage of the workshop to learn more about the movement. “I got to know Agroligadas through social networks, I follow it from afar, and when I saw about the workshop I decided to participate to learn more about the movement and because these issues are very relevant,” said the researcher.
Rural producer Patrícia Brunetta, from Rondonópolis, has been part of the group since the beginning and has followed the movement’s evolution from the inside. “The Agroligadas who organized this event were very happy in the choice of the program, the speakers, and very sensitive in the choice of themes addressed here. We were able to identify and multiply our space in the agro x city context”, commented Patrícia, who went to the workshop accompanied by her daughters.
Journalist and presenter Dejane Arnhold was the master of ceremonies for the event. The rural producer and agro-coach Adriane Steinmetz was also a speaker and inspired the audience with her story of overcoming and involvement with the field and with the theme of personal development and protagonism.
A round table with the theme “The female force in agribusiness” brought together three stories of women with strong performance in their areas – Mariely Biff, Sônia Bonato, and Letícia Scheffer – led by Fernanda Arantes, the table’s mediator.
Mírian Vaz, from the Parliamentary Front for Agriculture and Cattle Raising, came from the federal capital to lecture about strategic dialogues between public power, entities, and society. And, closing the program, image consultant and stylist Josi Grudzinski talked about “Dress for success”.
The Agroligadas Workshop – Empowering to Transform – was sponsored by Acrimat; Tecnomyl; Aprosoja; Ampa; Aprosmat; Áster/John Deere; Andef and partnered by Famato, Senar-MT and Caule Criativo.
Agroligadas, who are they?
Agroligadas is a movement of women connected to agriculture, with the purpose of being a bridge between the countryside and society, through Education and Communication actions, promoting and encouraging the positive culture of agriculture.
Created a little over a year ago in Mato Grosso, it already brings together more than 250 women from the whole state and other parts of the country and, since its creation, has been creating a body and uniting several profiles of women: wives of rural producers, farmers, cattle ranchers, agronomic engineers, veterinarians, journalists, economists, administrators, and a wide range of professions, all with activities linked to agribusiness.
