After a period of inactivity, the Bahian nucleus is back to work and is moving the northeastern agribusiness
With the return of the Bahia section of the Agroligadas, we have put one more state of our country in the active mission of uniting the countryside and the city through a new board of directors, and we would like to introduce it to you.
The first nucleus in Bahia started in the year 2020, and during the year 2022, it held events and organized itself to act more and more in the agro of the city and region. With 55 women, the core has 9 women on the board, and you can meet them in the post we did there on our Instagram.
The nucleus’ 2022 actions started with a women’s meeting with the theme “The important role of the women’s movement in Agribusiness”, held in June, at the end of the biggest agribusiness fair in the north and northeast, the Bahia Farm Show, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães/BA, for 25 women in the Agro & Vc space.
In October, the center held the Cotton Day, in commemoration of the date of the crop, with an educational action for approximately 80 children from the Rosário community, in the municipality of Correntina/BA, in partnership with the Bahian Association of Cotton Producers – ABAPA and the Rosário Project Mãos Dadas.
The national “Where does it come from?” action was carried out in November in five branches of the local Santo Antônio supermarket chain, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães/BA. The month also provided space for the nucleus to participate in the Agroligadas 2022 Workshop, an event where we were able to present the actions for 2022 and also the planning for 2023.
Just like the other cores that have been active for more years, the Bahia one has taken seriously the mission of connecting the countryside and the city. It is a great pride for all of us to be able to count on people engaged in our purpose.
