Check out all the actions and events held throughout the country
During the month of October, the Agroligadas promoted and participated in several events relevant to agribusiness, continuing the purpose of uniting the countryside and the city. Check out everything that has happened in the last 30 days and where we have been – and we already told you that we went a long way!
- Field Day
The operation of the “Crop-Livestock-Forestry Integration” system on a rural property was closely presented to university students and professors on Agroligadas Field Day. Held on October 4th, the technology was shown at Grupo Morena’s farm in Campo Novo do Parecis – MT. The main objective was to show the positive results of the good practices in the agricultural and cattle raising activities implemented in the farm.
- Participation in FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United States)
Our president, Geni Schenkel, attended the international event on October 7th, where she had the honor of celebrating with a team that lives and fights to improve the relationship and the projects/partnerships with other countries that seek to increase the productivity of plume in the world, in order to fight hunger. On the occasion, our representative was able to present the work of the Agroligadas, which is totally related to the projects developed by the countries.
- Presence in the Forbes List “50 Women’s Groups in Brazilian Agribusiness
In an unprecedented survey, Forbes Agro presented the list of women agribusiness groups operating in the country. In total, there are 50 organized groups, most of them created in the last 4 years.
- Teachers’ Day
The Sapezal branch promoted a special event aimed at teachers. After a quick chat, the Agroligadas distributed buttons and bookmarks to all professionals in the area.
- Visit to Baia Campeira
The girls of the Sapezal nucleus made a special moment for the children, where all of them could get to know the Campeira Bay in a complete visit. All the students who participated in the event got to know the animals up close, understanding how they live, how they feed, among other curiosities that they only knew from photos or videos.
- Getting to know Agronomy
This time, held by the Agroligadas of Campo Verde – MT, the event received students from the 4th semester of the IFMT Agronomy course, as well as students from APAE and the Paraíso and Progresso schools (elementary school II and high school). The goal, successfully achieved, was to provide all students with a moment to get to know the Agronomy course.
- Agroligadas Circuit
The Confresa branch has held another edition of the Agroligadas Circuit, an event where several lectures on the valorization of agribusiness and healthy eating took place. In total, between October 3 and 11, the girls of the nucleus traveled to 11 schools promoting theatrical lectures with actor Rodrigo Scheer. More than 1350 students participated in the action.
- Visit to Algodoeira
The first educational event held by the Agroligadas nucleus in Bahia, in partnership with Project Mãos Dadas, took place last Friday, October 21, and brought 70 children to the premises of Abapa (Bahia Association of Cotton Producers), in Correntina – BA. On the occasion, the Agroligadas received the children for educational moments where they all had contact with the cotton culture through a comic book – with which they were presented – and a dynamic and fun puzzle, in which the children discovered some of the fiber’s byproducts. With the help of the Hand-in-hand Project and Ciaseeds, which was also part of the partnership, the children got to know the cotton mill, where they learned about cotton processing. At the end of the meetings, which took place during the morning and afternoon, the children were presented with a gift, and in the evening, their families were also able to see up close a little of everything they had seen during the day.
- Women of Agriculture Meeting
The 3rd Meeting of Agricultural Women from Lucas do Rio Verde was a Realization of the Rural Union of the city, in partnership with Aprosoja, Amazônia Máquinas, Sicredi, Senar, and Araguaia Agrícola. The event focused on management and female leadership in agriculture and was attended by approximately 250 women, including 5 speakers, such as Cláudia Luz, Margareth Facirolli, Alessandra Decicino, Ildiana Romancini, and Simone Botan.
- National Congress of Women in Agriculture
On October 26th and 27th, the Agroligadas participated in the National Congress of Women in Agribusiness, with professionals from all over Brazil, who joined other women to discuss important agribusiness issues!
What’s next?
At this point, where we are nearing the end of the year, we still have our Leadership Workshop coming up, on November 18. The Agroligadas are already moving towards planning for 2023, where more great events will take place and that will help us take agribusiness even further.
